I mention this just briefly on the podcast, but I, myself, have been on a podcast binge as of late. From other music podcasts, to comedy ones, "audio theater" and syndicated shows and what not, I can't get enough. And I think I caught up on a bunch of them. I was a bit behind. A new episode everyday? Geez, I couldn't keep up at one point. I thought I'd share one I've been listening to.
Lead Singer Syndrome (website is HERE). It's hosted by Shane Told of Silverstein (hey! I think they'll be playing here in the Summer!). It's basically Shane interviewing (more like just having a conversation with a friend) other singers of some pretty famous and not-as-famous bands, a lot of them contemporaries and friends. The stories are fun to listen to, especially if you're familiar with the band and its music. And Shane will close the show with a track or two of the singer's music. The length of the show varies, about an hour to sometimes 80 or 90 minutes. I like it.
