Happy New Year's EVE, everyone! Hope it was a stellar year for all of you. Lots of good things happened this year and some bad, but we can restart again, fresh, in 2016.

     So here it is, my favorite albums to come out this year. I've seen some pretty cool lists. Lots of good stuff to come out this year. Too many, actually.

     Holy crap, new SHE LIKES TODD! I actually just saw this post minutes ago, and am currently listening to it now. It has been five years since, A Story Still Untold, a masterpiece of sheer punk and thrash technicality, in my opinion. The tracks on this new album are still unmastered, but I do like where this is going...yes!

     I think one of the more important shows of the year, for me anyways, to have been at was the two-night set of Five Iron Frenzy, MxPx, and Slick Shoes (other shows include the Sticklers and Generic, local superstars in my eyes). The most important must see of the three, in my opinion, was of course, Slick Shoes. I didn't attend, mainly because I would rather drive to a show instead of fly to one. Set sounded great from what I've seen. Other footage floating around youtube has the entire set too. To hear these songs live is a treat. To have been there in person would have been amazing!
