Taking the Lead is a music podcast with an eclectic playlist. Each episode is different, playing punk, ska, hardcore, rock, experimental, and beyond. The podcast started as an idea in Vancouver, Washington. I thought about making a 'zine. Scraped the idea. It then started as a music podcast in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now I'm living back in Hawaii.
The idea behind Taking the Lead is based on, "Support your local scene because without you, there is no scene." The lead singer from the Hawaii band, Tweaked, said this. I think that's true. The music on these episodes aren't specific to any one location or genre. I like these bands and their music. A lot. I think you'll like them too. Please enjoy some awesome music by some great bands.
