1. Mike Got Spiked
Mike Got Spiked are a rock band originally from Dublin, Ireland, who now reside in Los Angeles, California. Their music is a mix of alternative and hard-rock with a small blend of some reggae. The band formed in 2002 and have since then released two albums (Caveat Emptor, No is Not An Answer), one EP (Poetry and Prozak), and one live acoustic album (with a full band) recorded in Los Angeles. The live album features a mix of new material as well as acoustic versions of songs from their previous releases. Just recently the band released their newest album, No is Not an Answer, exclusively to those who've pledged on Pledge Music. The title track can be heard on the band's Pledge Music page though. The track, No is Not an Answer, from the live acoustic album appeared on the Top 25 Show last year. The song on this episode is titled, Speechless, from their Live & Acoustic album.
2. OneStarCity
OneStarCity was a rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The band formed in late 2007 and released only one album titled, Lion Fights in the Streets of Hollywood. OneStarCity's song on this episode is titled, Lost in a Moment, off of, Lion Fights in the Streets of Hollywood. The song, Panther Vs. Your Face, appears on Episode 7.
3. Abandon the Raft
Abandon the Raft is a progressive-rock band based in San Diego, California. They have seven-song album, Concept Paradox, and one EP, The House of Gold EP. The band has download links for the House of Gold EP on their facebook. Other Abandon the Raft tunes appears on several episodes (Episode 11, Episode 13, and Episode 21). Some new music is also in the works. Abandon the Raft's song on this episode is titled, Making Rope, off of, The House of Gold EP.
4. Burning Streets
Burning streets are a four-piece punk band from Boston, Massachusetts. They play catchy aggressive east-coast style punk rock that's both raw and passionate. They formed in 2008 and since then released two albums, Is it in Black and White? (2009) and Sit Still (2011) through Sailor's Grave Records. Burning Streets newest album, Sit Still, was released this past September featuring eleven songs of some solid Boston punk rock. A few tracks are currently streaming on both their facebook and reverbnation pages. Their song on this episode is titled, He's Alright, off of the album, Is it in Black and White?
5. Last Stand For Lucy
Last Stand For Lucy are a four-piece hard-rock band based in New York City. The band currently have two EP's out, Bastards of Gramercy (2010), and Dysthymia Part-I (2011). With their new material, Last Stand For Lucy will release two EP's instead of one full-length album. The first of those EP's is Dysthymia Part-I which features five new alternative rock songs. The band also produced a new music video for the song, Heartless Son of a Bitch (check it out here). The song, Burn Everything, off of, Bastards of Gramercy, appeared on the Top 25 Episode. The featured song on this episode is titled, Restless, off of, Dysthymia Part-I.
