1. The Quintessentials

What began as the Catalogs, later lead to member, Les Hernandez (vocals, guitar), forming Crawling Chaos. That eventually lead to The Products which required a name change because another band had all ready acquired that one. This lead to the now current, Quintessentials. The Quintessentials are a four-piece horror punk rock band originally from Hawaii, but now currently reside in Portland, Oregon. Other members include Gustavo Diablo (drums, vocals), Steve Cook (bass, vocals), and George DeVita (guitar, vocals). The band has released three albums through Hawaiian Express Records. These albums include The Horror Never Ends...(2001), Pentagonal Revisionism (2004), and Legends from the Grave (2005). The track on this episode is Speciman 32 (Brain Intact), off of Legends from the Grave.

2. Social Concern

Social Concern are a three-piece punk band based in the Chico/Sacramento, California area. Members are Sarah Shintaku (guitar, vocals), Ami Rose (bass) and Noelia Ramirez (drums). The band formed in May of 2003 and since then has had several releases. Social Concern's catalog includes a seven track demo titled, Cupcakes and Snowflakes (2003), California Angel (2005), Exodus (2008), and their newest release, Cut and Dry (2010). The song featured on this podcast is titled, Red, off of their second album, Exodus.
3. Raised By Apes

Raised by Apes is a punk band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The song on this episode is Den for Men, off of their 2009 release, Destination Nowhere. A new record is currently in the works and new tracks can be heard on the band's myspace.
4. Crookedhook

Crookedhook is a punk band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This four-piece tends to also blend in some ska influence in its music. Crookedhook's most recent release is Breathe Pollution, a five song EP of punk/ska music. Other releases by the band include the album, All We Got (2007), and the four track EP, Rock or Walk (2007). The song featured on this podcast is titled, Size Zero, off of Breathe Pollution.
5. Mayflower

After a demo and a 7” (Lighter Fluid), Mayflower has released their debut record, Second Best Sunsets through Kiss of Death Records. Formed in 2007, Mayflower is made up of four members: Teddy Casper (guitar, vocals), Scott Gillard (guitar, vocals), Steve Port (drums), and TJ Backer (bass). The featured song on this episode is titled, Worst Case Scenario from Second Best Sunsets.
