2. Brilliant Red Lights

Brilliant Red Lights was a three-piece tech pop band from San Francisco, California. They played technical rock and pop with a very dance vibe approach. The instrumentals on each of their songs are very upbeat and new-wave, but catchy, as are the vocals too. Lots of odd timing and quirky lyrics give the songs interesting dynamics and melodies. The band has been inactive for sometime now, but their music still exists on bandcamp. At one point, the band used to release tons of free original music as EP's or singles, but that has since been gone for a while, now that their website closed. They have one album and several EP's in their discography. The song on this episode is titled, Tender Colors, off of their Growth Strategies EP.
3. Brave Monster

Brave Monster were a five-piece rock-pop band from San Diego, California. They have one five-song self-titled EP and a two song demo titled, Breakdance Kid, both released through Easta Green Music. The latter is actually available for free download on last.fm. During Brave Monster's brief time as a band, they played energetic rock and pop laced with wonderful harmonies and sweet vocals. Even though the band is no longer active, their records are still available on Easta Green and other online digital outlets. The song on this episode is titled, Better Get Better, off of their self-titled EP.
