I have a guest on the show! Fernando of the local ska-punk band No Villains Left joins me on the show. He plays trombone and sings in the band. We talk about ska music, the local Hawaii music scene and Fernando's first instrument, which was NOT trombone. It was a fun talk. We also get into the formation of No Villains Left and some (hilarious) stories behind a couple songs. Peppered throughout the show are tracks from the new album, Bright Lights and a couple from another local ska-punk band, Exit 24 (HAWAIIAN EXPRESS). This was some of the members of No Villains Left first band.
Also, note that there are two versions of this episode. The episode featured below is an uncut version of our interview. It was such a good talk which included lots of history/trivia of Hawaii's local music scene and we also get into Fernando's favorite ska bands and albums. Be sure to check out the bands' new album, Bright Lights (check out my review HERE) on digital platforms, Apple Music and Spotify.
