It is finally July and lots of shows lined up, from ones that I've seen so far. And the one I've been looking forward to is coming up next week. What a lineup...this one is going to be a lot of fun. The next three flyers are all happning on the same night. Olivia the Band is playing two shows back to back, WHAT?? I'm done with work at 7pm and gotta drive all the way to Hale'iwa? And it's FREE. hmmm. I have not decided yet. This show is down the street from where I work and I try to find parking on the street first before chancing it at Safeway (sshhhh). But music is at 7 and usually that's pretty accurate at this venue and it's $10. I've been wanting to see Podagee Mind Virus for sometime. And Switch shows always better than the last. This one is at Brian's and the parking is not sketchy, but I gotta navigate the narrow stall in between the pillar and usually the car parked in the stall next to it. Flyer says 7pm, but that could mean a 15 minute or so grace period before the start of the first band. It's four bands and $15. Plan your Friday night accordingly. How often do I get to see Stepsuns? Not that often. I all ready bought tickets for this. I'm done with work at 7pm, please don't start until 730. I usually park near Safeway (sshhhh). And it'll be my first time seeing P.I.LA.U. I'm ready, but I still have to stretch. This is stacked lineup and I anticipate lots of fun to be had. Last time I saw No Hero was at Rhythm Collision. Hard to believe the last time I saw Ala Wai Virus was at Sailor Jerry 2025. It's about time I fix that. Solid lineup with At Peace, a band from Oregon. I missed Aswang's second night set at the Speed shows. I need to fix that. Feeble be playing pretty consistently through the last several sweeks, better not miss any of it. Sumor should be playing more shows. Anyway, lots of good things happening. And I hope all of you are having a fun time working on your own individual projects. Support your local scene becuase without you, there is no scene.
